Talking with Kids about Mass Shootings and Gun Violence

In light of the Super Bowl Parade shooting, we at Sunflower Medical Group and Heartland Primary Care are sharing a few resources for parents and other adults impacted by this tragedy. Here are a few options for talking with kids and ideas for taking care of self after such a situation.

Locally, you can search for counseling by going to www.psychologytoday.com and searching first by insurance and issue. You can choose providers by age of clients they see as well.
